Respected Sister, Salamun alaikum!

At this moment of profound grief that will be a lifelong loss for you and your lovely daughters; Farida, I, Ashi, Mama and other family members are, and will remain, with you in our thoughts.

Psychology tells us that the grief period is at its peak during the first three months. Thereafter, it gradually starts fading.

We are facing a paradoxical scale here: My respected Sister's strong will on one hand and the most traumatic event on the other.

You must resolutely live for your lovely daughters who are still kids in my sight. This recalls me of a poem I learned in high school:

HOME THEY BROUGHT HER WARRIOR DEAD
SHE NOR SWOONED NOR UTTERED CRY
ALL HER MAIDENS WATCHING SAID
SHE MUST WEEP OR SHE WILL DIE
ROSE A NURSE OF NINETY YEARS
SET HER CHILD UPON HER KNEE
LIKE SUMMER TEMPEST CAME HER TEARS
"O MY CHILD I LIVE FOR THEE!"

If we could do anything to be supportive, please do not hesitate to call us.

Always your family,

Farida, Shabbir, Mama and children
